Blue Unsquared

I painted "Blue Unsquared" with no thought in mind  other than I wanted to created a heavily textured painting using oil mixed with cold wax.  I put layer upon layer of various blues and whites, scraping back in some places.  I kept turning the panel and finally liked what I saw.  I added blacks randomly until I had a design that intrigued me.  I find I am always seeing something new in this work, which I love.
